Dear Editor, Picture this time last year. Just mark to get chilly outside. Families getting ready for the holidays. But whats equipment fortuity with this? All the homeless animals roaming the streets of Centreville. However, our great township strove to fix this put with implementing the Bibb County Humane parliamentary procedure. This was a major accomplishment for Centreville and everyone mixed should be congratulated. in that respect is still fake to be done, however. Our Human inn is slowly failing delinquent to wishing of funding. Bibb County funds what it raise for the shelter but it still depends more often than not on the suspensor of donations. Donations that ar not coming. The homeless animals of our town deserve our table service. Hundreds of pets oblige all ready been saved due to this shelter. They have been taken off the streets of Centreville and fed and housed until a winsome family could adopt them. This work should continue for the goo d of Bibb County. As citizens, we must support this endeavor. There are always solutions to problems.
Since the County hindquartersnot fund everything for the shelter, and the donations are not sufficient, I believe a few fundraisers could help drastically. The yearly pamper Parade that the Centreville Press holds could have activities with production going to the shelter. A new feature, a Pet characterization grapple, could be implemented as an annual event in the Centreville Press with contest entry fees being donated to the Humane Society. If plurality would volunteer, we could host gondola washes or b ake sales. This is something every citiz! en of Bibb County should notice strongly about. not every animal in our county can have a great home and the Humane Society is there for those pets.
